As part of the League's commitment to building a strong local workforce, the Center for Workforce Development Services (CWDS) often provides specialized pre-screening and identification services to assist employers locate qualified applicants. In addition to providing such services as assessments and performing background checks, the CWDS also provides life skills and job readiness training to the candidates prior to entering specialized training programs offered by the contracting employer.
