We have much for which to be proud. For 85 years, the Louisville Urban League has remained steadfast in its commitment to level the playing field economically and socially for all in our community by providing direct services, advocacy and building bridges of understanding among diverse groups. Its primary focus has been to assist African Americans, other minority groups and the disadvantaged. Central programming objectives include developing a strong workforce; providing counsel and guidance to corporations and businesses seeking to fully utilize workforce diversity to advance their enterprises; helping minority entrepreneurs to establish or expand their businesses; developing and educating our youth; and working to revitalize inner-city neighborhoods. The League's numerous accomplishments through the years truly speak well of our great city and its caring citizens.

The Louisville Urban League is prepared to confront new challenges and opportunities.
