The Urban League provides services to employers that need help marketing career opportunities and achieving workforce diversity. Professionals Ready to Help

The League’s Workforce Development staff is comprised of experienced professionals who possess the talent and passion necessary to help our clients overcome potential employment barriers.  These obstacles may include:  inadequate family support system; past involvement with the criminal justice system; inadequate academic preparation; and lack of job skills.

Career Expo and Job Fairs

The Urban League’s Center for Workforce Development hosts annual Career Expos to help those in search of jobs, vocational development and advanced education opportunities. 

Our Louisville Career Expo in March is traditionally the largest in the Kentuckian region.  It provides a “one-stop” experience for individuals seeking to connect with potential employers, educational institutions, training opportunities, and other informational resources.

A smaller, but equally valuable job fair--the Community Career Expo Jeffersontown--is held in June of each year.  The event attracts hundreds of jobs seekers and several dozen exhibitors.
