Home Ownership Training offers comprehensive education and counseling to prepare families who want to purchase a home. Courses focus on real estate contracts, home inspections, home maintenance, home insurance and completing residential loan applications.

The comprehensive program also educates participants by preparing and pre-qualifying them to obtain a mortgage. In addition to individualized budget and credit counseling sessions, participants are involved in various group sessions covering such topics as:

• Reading and Understanding the Real Estate Contract
• Home Inspection
• Home Maintenance
• Home Owner's Insurance
• Completing residential loan applications
• The Loan Closing
• Fair Housing
