To keep pace with the anticipated demand for workers on the Arena Project and other large construction projects in the metro area, the Louisville Urban League launched the region’s first Construction One-Stop Career Center.

Funded by KentuckianaWorks, the Center’s goal is to prepare adults for careers in the construction industry.  The initiative-- also known as the Construction Pipeline Project--is a collaboration between the Urban League, Justice Resource Center, and local union and non-union apprenticeship programs.

The eligibility requirements to participate in the program are: 

• 18 years or older
• U.S. citizen
• Registered with Selective Service (males only)
• Possess a valid Driver’s License
• Have a High School Diploma or GED (or interested in obtaining)
• Interested in learning about job opportunities in construction
