Through funding support from Making Connections Louisville and Louisville Metro, the League works with adults, 18 years and older, who have criminal records. Program participants are provided Employability/Life Skills training designed to prepare them for job interviews; completing employment applications; demonstrating strong work ethics, and conducting job search activities.
* Individual Service Plan (ISP) - An ISP is a plan between Counselor and client that builds short, mid and long-range goals designed to address deficiencies in work experience, education and marketable job skills to compete in today's local labor market. The plan is also designed to remove or minimize barriers--such as criminal record, lack of transportation and childcare issues--in order to successfully obtain and retain meaningful employment. |
