Drawing for a HOME Give A Way!

There's no place like home, and there's no better time than right now to buy one!  If you've always wanted to own your own home, why not act now?  Interest rates are at or near their all-time low, there are lots of great houses available, and the Greater Louisville Home Ownership Expo will be here soon to open doors for you.

Presented by the Louisville Urban League's Housing Services and Neighborhood Revitalization Department, the Expo is aimed at first-time home seekers and homeowners in all price ranges, from low-income to high - anyone who's thinking about taking the plunge or has just taken it. Big crowds will be strolling through the Expo, learning about the joys and challenges of home ownership and meeting dozens of exhibitors.

Exhibitors include real-estate agents, lending institutions, builders, insurance companies, nonprofits, landscapers and more. We'll offer informative workshops to visitors, along with special programs dedicated to affordable housing. It's a terrific opportunity to market your company to eager customers who are likely to remain loyal for many years.

Made possible through the generous support of Louisville Metro Government and PNC Bank and presented by the Louisville Urban League, the Greater Louisville Home Ownership Expo is geared toward first-time home seekers in all price ranges and in all Kentuckiana neighborhoods.

We'll have Workshops and counseling sessions to take you through the entire process of buying a house. Stroll among 50+ vendor booths who will give you the scoop on home ownership from A to Z.

You'll learn about:

  • Figuring out how much house you can afford

  • Choosing a real estate agent

  • Filling out a loan application

  • Making an offer on a house

  • Buying homeowners insurance

  • Determining what other services - landscaping, security, home improvement, etc. - you will need
