The Louisville Urban League's “Doing the Right Thing” is a youth-focused expo that has become a popular, annual tradition in our community. Begun in June 1995, the all-day event has grown significantly over the years. About 2,000 youth attendees are expected for this year's event scheduled on Saturday, August 22, from 10 AM to 4 PM, at a fabulous venue--"Fourth Street Live!" in downtown Louisville! "Doing the Right Thing" is a major community initiative designed to increase pride and appreciation for student achievement. Some of the activities planned for the day are:

Opportunities for Booth Sponsorships... Youth-focused organizations in the Metro area can get involved by sponsoring a booth. Such sponsorships help to make the event possible and also provide organizations the opportunity to showcase their services to hundreds of youth and adults in attendance. If your organization is interested in a booth sponsorship, please click HERE. But please hurry. Space is limited!
Opportunities for Youth Participation... Youth accomplishments will be recognized throughout the day. To find out how you can nominate a youth for special recognition, please click HERE. Youth also have the opportunity to shine during the expo by participating in two special activities--the Oratorical Contest or the Talent Showcase!
