Employers and job seekers have the opportunity to connect at the Louisville Urban League 16th annual “
Traditionally one of the largest events of its kind, admission to the Louisville Career Expo is free to the public and targets adults who are 18 years of age or older. The event offers companies the opportunity to: 1) meet face-to-face with large numbers of qualified job applicants; 2) diversify their workforce; and 3) get ready for the economic upswing.
“The Louisville Career Expo matches qualified and skilled prospective employees with great employment opportunities,” said Juanita F. Sands, director of the Louisville Urban League’s Center for Workforce Development. “The timing is perfect to help our community to prepare for a ‘stimulated’ economy by getting a jump on current and future workforce needs,” she added.

Colleges and training programs can recruit potential students for advanced education and certification programs in high demand industries, such as healthcare, information technology, and construction.
