Phyllis Anderson, Vice President of Marketing for Humana, Inc., was recently elected as the new Chair of the Louisville Urban League's Board of Directors at the organization's annual membership meeting. She replaces Kennedy Helm III, who completed his term as Chair and will continue to serve as a Director and a member of the Executive Committee. 

Other officers and new Board members were also elected at the meeting. 

Other officers are: Vice Chairman, Programs: Barry Barker, TARC; Vice Chairman, Administration: James Gates, Jr., Churchill Downs; Vice Chairwoman, Development: Gail Lyttle, Fifth Third Bank; Secretary: Rev. Bernard Crayton, Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church; and Treasurer: Chip Hancock, Republic Bank.

The new members of the Board of Directors are: Dawn Franklin Croft, Frost Brown Todd LLC; Cynthia Federico, Wal-Mart Stores; Michael Guinan, White Castle Louisville Region; H. David Hale, First Capital Bank of Kentucky; and Elliott Snow, General Electric, Consumer & Industrial.  Also elected to her first three-year term was Paula Pottinger, Ph.D., E.ON U.S.
