Expo

invited to be part of this event, designed to
address youth achievement and access to resources,
while celebrating youth who are "doing the right
thing. The Youth Expo is part of
a series of community engagement events that
promote Louisville's "college going culture".

Matters" Oratorical Contest
(sponsored
by Kentucky State University)
Calling
for
contestant entries
for Louisville's premiere youth public speaking
contest, designed to inspire and motivate youth to
be actively engaged in key civic
affairs. Deadline
for entry is extended to July
29th. Selected contestants to be
notified of screening conditions by August 17th.

Youth
Recognition Nomination
Nominate
individuals or youth
groups (ages 24
and under) who
are "doing the right thing" for
public recognition. Nominations are accepted
from youth service organizations, churches,
schools or individuals . Deadline
for Youth Recognition nomination
is August 27th. Nominated youth must be supported by adult representation present at the event.

Got Talent" Showcase, featuring
"Str-8-Legit"
Seeking talented youth and
youth groups interested in presenting
positive, up-lifting performances. We're interested
in identifying youth choirs, musicians, artists,
singers, poets, dancers, rappers and other types
of performers for consideration. Deadline
for recommending youth performers is August
19th. Opportunities are limited ,
so please act quickly. Complete a "Performers
