Special Features

• In partnership with Jefferson County Public School’s English-as-a-Second Language Department, Interpreters will be on-hand to provide registration and application assistance to job seekers as well as assisting with interacting/communicating with exhibitors: 

  • Spanish                                                                       10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

  • Arabic, French, Somali, and Vietnamese              3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

• In partnership with the Center for Accessible Living, Sign Language interpreters will be on-hand from 12:00 - 5:00 p.m.  to provide assistance to the hearing impaired attendees.

• Local colleges, universities, vocational/technical schools and training providers will be on-hand to provide information to attendees on advancing their educational levels and upgrading their job skills.

• TARC Job Hunter buses are scheduled to run during the Career Expo, click here for schedule and locations. TARC Job Hunter buses are available to assist in transporting groups to and from the Louisville Career Expo. If interested in arranging for a Job Hunter bus in your neighborhood, please call TARC Customer Service line at (502) 585-1234.

• The Louisville Career Expo will feature workshops and informational exhibitors where attendees can get information on community resources and supportive services, such as What HR Looks for in Candidates; Public Transportation; Employment Discrimination: Knowing Your Rights, and others.

• An internet connected computer technology lab for job seekers to apply online will be available at the Expo. Job seekers should bring printed copies and Resumes on diskette to apply online for positions of interest.
