Use your feet to help defeat Childhood Obesity!

Louisville Urban League invites everyone to "use your feet to help defeat childhood obesity" at the 2nd Annual Walk to Defeat Childhood Obesity.

The one mile walk be through downtown starting and ending at Fourth Street Live!

Available before and after the walk, the Norton Healthcare Centers for Prevention and Wellness Health Marketplace will provide access to health resources in our community and provide health screenings and information with the goal of taking a step towards reducing obesity, chronic illness and cancer in our community.

Walk proceeds will fund health and wellness programs and activities for economically disadvantaged youth enrolled in Louisville Urban League programs. Developing healthy lifestyle activities and essential college preparation skills are some core objectives of the League's youth programs.

This family, fun-filled event is made possible by the generosity of our corporate sponsors and partners.
